Focus and Scope

The Journal of Madzahib is a scientific journal published by STIS Al-Manar, serving as a platform for publishing research and academic studies in the field of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh.

This journal publishes original and unpublished works, including research papers, conceptual studies, and reviews related to comparative jurisprudence, contemporary fiqh, the development of Islamic legal thought, and principles of Islamic jurisprudence (usul al-fiqh).

Topics covered by this journal include, but are not limited to:

• Comparative studies among Islamic schools of thought (madhahib)
• Application of Islamic law in modern contexts
• Maqashid al-Sharia and contemporary legal reasoning
• Methodology of Islamic legal derivation (istinbat al-ahkam)
• Integration of Islamic and positive law

Information on manuscript preparation and submission procedures is provided in the Author Guidelines section of each issue.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process after meeting the editorial requirements.
 The Journal of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh (MADZAHIB) is published twice a year (May and November) by STIS Al-Manar.
