Perlukah Kita Bermadzhab?

Abstract

Madzhab which is generally defined as a school or teaching. In Islamic literature, the madzhab is divided into two, the madzhab in aqidah and the madzhab in fiqh, the madzhab in aqidah is the Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaah school, in the realm of aqidah, all Muslims must practice that according to the Ahlu Sunnah wal Jamaah, so anyone who deviates from this school is said to be heretical . The madzhab in fiqh is different from the madzhab in aqidah, which is often termed a difference in the problem of branches (furu '), so the madzhab in fiqh is much easier and more tolerable for differences, therefore, it is necessary to study this in depth so that Muslims are not divided just because of the furu'iyah problem so that the Muslims can occupy them wisely and proportionally. It is undeniable that differences of opinion on issues of furu'iyah (ijtihadiyah) are a classic reality that has existed since the salaf generation, so we must choose the right attitude due to the many differences. So that we can avoid blind imitation and ta'asshub (fanatical) towards certain schools of thought and choose a more correct and wise opinion.
