Hadiah Pahala Untuk Mayit Menurut Ibnu Qayyim Dan Bin Baz (Studi Komparatif)

Abstract

The journey of human life in this world has an end. No matter how great humans in their time must be separated from the world they inhabit. A healthy body does not guarantee a person can linger in the world. Death that comes without permission often deceives many people who are careless. The release of the spirit from the body does not mean that human life is finished. Death is ony the beginning of a new chapter of the next human journey. When that time comes, people will realize that there is nothing more valuable than the reward. After humans die they can no longer do good deeds to get their reward. They can only wait for humans who are still alive in the world to reward them with good deeds. The discussion about the gift of reward to the dead can be found in the fiqh books. The scholars in this regard have various opinions. In this study, the research will focus on the opinions of two scholars, namely Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah and Syaikh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz. The purpose of this research is to find out the laws and regulations in awarding rewards to the dead according to iq and baz. This study uses a qualitative method that will focus on library research with comparative descriptive analysis.
