Analisis Kekuatan Makna Zahir, Nash, Mufassar, dan Muhkam dalam Pemahaman Hukum Islam

This study discusses the concept of zahir al-dalalah, which refers to the meaning that is clear and easily understood in a particular expression. The scholars of usul fiqh classify expressions based on the strength of their meanings into four categories: zahir, nash, mufassar, and muhkam. In terms of the clarity of their indications, the order of these categories starts with the clearest, which is muhkam, followed by mufassar, nash, and lastly zahir. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. A literature review serves as the reference for analyzing and deeply studying the material. The strength of the meaning of these expressions becomes a crucial foundation in various fields of knowledge, particularly in the interpretation of the Quran and fiqh.
